Ball mill

Ball mills are used for recurrent fine milling of basic components in liquids in production of colorants, pigments, enamels, lacquers and the like.

A miller consists of a fibermaster, two bases with bearing mounts, an electric drive, protective covers, a hand-lapping device and a frame. A fibermaster is a cylindrical drum which is partially filled with milled items. A workable hatch and a connection branch for milled materials sampling are located on a cylindrical drum surface.

A hand-lapping drum device is used for precise fixing of a drum in the position convenient for loading/unloading of basic and finished product and milling bodies. Miller's driver has a special muff that ensures smooth acceleration of a drum.

Complex movement of milling bodies induces product milling as a result of shots, detrition and crashing. Milling level depends on the product properties and time of milling. Desired milling fineness is achieved by product unloading from a miller via a workable hatch.
